Current Faves

I’ve been laying low recently with my makeup purchases determined to use more of what I have in my collection. Take a look at my current faves over the last few months!

Juvia’s Place single shadows

I’ve been incorporating eyeshadow back into my routine lately. I’ve been reaching for Juvia’s Place single shadows. What I love about them is they come in staple colors and a few shades to jazz up your look.

I purchased the bundle a few months ago and haven’t put them down. Another thing that I love is the pans are huge. I don’t see myself running out anytime soon. The shades are rich in colour, have a smooth texture, and are easy to work with.

Tarte Maracuja Oil

This beauty oil is a saving grace when my skin is super dry. It’s a bit heavier than coconut oil, which is something I use year round but my skin literally eats it up. I’ll be transitioning to the maracuja oil this winter since it keeps my skin moisturized for longer periods of time.

I also like applying this right before I layer on my foundation. Application looks way more flawless and doesn’t create those patchy dry areas.

Vanity Planet Brushes

I think tools are super important when creating different looks. I’m not one to bring my whole entire brush kit with me everywhere I go.

I purchased this brush kit from Vanity Planet and was the perfect set to take on vacation this summer. It pretty much has everything that you need for the face, eyes, and lip

Metallic liquid Lipsticks

I don’t think my love for metallic lips will go away anytime soon! There’s just something about adding metallic dimension to the lip… or anywhere on the face for that matter. All of the brands that I have tried thus far have not disappointed.

Ardell Demi Wispies

I love giving good lash but sometimes all that flare is not required for every look. I love these shorter lashes because they add just the right touch if you are going for more of a lowkey look. They are also awesome for layering to add more volume.

Murad Acne Spot Treatment

Remember about two months ago when I had that ridiculous outbreak wrecking my entire existence (drama…I know)? If not, check out what I wrote about it here. So the breakouts are back but not as crazy as before.

I thought through my last encounter with this product and only used it once per day and I noticed a drastic change to the problem areas over about days. What’s better is I didn’t experience the dry skin that I had before. I will keep this for those odd times that my skin tries to play me!

What products have you been crushing on lately? Let’s discuss below!!
