Holiday Lookbook: Thanksgiving

The holiday’s are here, which means that it’s time for the infamous holiday lookbook F/W 16 edition! I’m super excited to bring a bit of beauty inspiration to you guys. This year I’ll be crunching out as many looks at I can to provide some diversity (thank goodness I started early!).

I’ve been in quite into mauve lately.  I’ve stated before that pink shades don’t top my list of colors to use, but I’m trying to challenge and expand my artistry and have been pleasantly surprised in the results!  I choose this look because it’s still pretty neutral while using a bit of a color and it’s quick.  I also want to stray away from the browns and oranges, which is probably what y’all expected. You don’t necessarily want to do too much at the dinner table amongst family and friends, but you’ll still look presentable.

The star of this look by far was the Multistick by Bite Beauty in the shade Biscotti.  I literally used it on the eyes, lips, and cheeks (y’all know that I’m always down for a multitasking product).  These types of products are good if your strapped for time.  Take a look at the other items that I used to achieve this look.

Now if you want to put a little more effort into your look, this next one is for you!  I decided to go with a light smokey eye, a bolder lash and pink-y nude lip.  One of my favorite eye looks to do is the halo/spotlight technique. It works the best to bring more dimension to my hooded eyes.

Thanksgiving

I kept the skin natural with a flush of color using the Bite Beauty Multistick and a minimal highlight. Again nothing too busy for either of these looks, but they will make a subtle statement!
